Deanna Muise, FCPA, FCA, TEP, is Partner Emeritus, Taxation at Kingston Ross Pasnak LLP in Edmonton. Over more than 33 years with the firm, and as one of three Métis partners, she practised in taxation: estate and business planning, corporate reorganizations, business restructuring, business purchases and sales, and corporate and personal income tax. She retired in 2022, took on the status of Partner Emeritus, and continues to advise clients and the firm.

Deanna taught taxation courses to students in the CA program and marked tax examinations for the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She has presented papers at the Legal Education Society of Alberta’s Spring Conference and the Prairie Tax Conference, guest lectured at the University of Alberta, and given tax seminars to the Canadian Bar Association, clients, legal firms, staff and the general public.
