Chad Knippel, CPA, CA, is a Partner in the Assurance and Advisory group at Kingston Ross Pasnak LLP in Edmonton, Alberta. He has more than 21 years’ experience working with owner-managed, privately held companies and not-for-profit and government organizations. His services include business start-up, accounting, assurance, internal controls, business processes, succession planning, and tax strategies.
The highest level of assurance on a set of financial statements.
Chad works with oil and gas-related industries, construction and trades companies, retail businesses, professionals, not-for-profit organizations, and educational institutions, both locally and internationally. He helps clients understand their organizations so they can grow and improve every year.
He serves clients under the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations, International Financial Reporting Standards, and Public Sector Accounting Standards.
Chad is the past President of DFK Canada and a past Advisory Board Member representing Canada with DFK International, a top-ten global accountancy association. KRP has been a member of DFK Canada since 1981. Chad took on the firm’s representation role with the association in 2012, was elected Vice President of DFK Canada in 2016, became President Elect in 2018, and then President in 2020.
